My son had me rolling with laughter this morning at breakfast...One of the girls on the track team has been wishing for a pair of new shoes for the summer..(both of her parents were laid off) and she had a picture of the shoes in the front of her binder at school yesterday. Last night my son and his friend Age went shopping for her shoes as a surprise. The good deed itself made me smile last night but this morning he was telling me about the looks and comments they were getting from clerks. Can you imagine 2 17 year old boys shopping for girls shoes? They went to about 3 stores trying to explain to the clerks what they were looking for...I would have loved to have overheard that conversation! They did find the right shoes and got her a 2nd pair to.
it makes me smile...
